- A real gem who is easy to live with and easy to love; loves attention and will go right up and say hi
- Loves to play with her toys, play fetch and be with you
- Her foster family said she does well sleeping in a crate or sleeping with them
- Rides well in the car and RV in her foster home and would likely make a good traveler
- Her foster family said she has been housetrained in their home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new schedule
- Young yet and may need a little help remembering to keep her feet on the ground when greeting people
- Can pull a bit on a leash and is used to using a harness for walks
- A pretty quiet dog, and her foster family said she only barks when someone comes in the house or she sees something in the yard
- Has done well with other dogs in her foster home; could be a bit shy when meeting dogs in the shelter, so calmer dogs may be the best fit for her
- Has been diagnosed with a Grade 4 heart murmur and is doing well at this time; also likely has allergies (more info at ARL)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
