- Sweet, gentle girl who loves going on walks and hikes and has been friendly with everyone she has met
- Has been a favorite to take on Dog's Day Out field trips, and here's what just one of her human companions shared: "She is GREAT in the car - the best behaved dog I've taken out yet. She sits in her seat and is so calm and content to just look out the window. She loves walks and was a great hiking buddy. She can pull a little in the harness but honestly for as big as she is, she didn't pull that bad. And she always backed off on her pull when I pulled her back."
- Knows several skills, and her previous family said she was potty trained in their home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine
- Has been very stressed around children; looking for a calm, patient adults-only home to set her up for success
- Has been interested in other dogs on outings but may not like sharing her food or things with other dogs, so if she goes to a home with dogs, some management may be needed - for example feeding the dogs in separate rooms; may also prefer to be the only dog in her home (dog intro recommended)
- Needs a home with no cats
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
