- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time with her human companions: "Cheveil is a fantastic dog. She enjoys getting pets but prefers for new people to bend down to her level so she is comfortable. She is good with children and does well with people passing by on bikes. She doesn't pull on the leash or wander far from your side unless she has to potty. She enjoys walking and would do well with someone who likes to walk long distances. Honestly, she is everyone's dream dog."

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
