- Very busy girl who rarely stops moving; loves playing fetch and likes carrying around her stuffies
- Likes chest scratches, belly rubs and butt scratches, but prefers it if you avoid her head or neck
- Knows sit and loves learning with treats; also redirects well with treats and toys
- Does best with a harness on walks
- Looking for an adults-only home that can help her work on calm behaviors and remembering her manners
- Has been very uncomfortable around other dogs while in our care and can be a linebacker-type player, which some dogs won't appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro required)
- Needs a home with no cats
- Has a ton of potential - just looking for the right experienced person to help her become the best dog she can be
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
